Warm-up: Like any other workout, your first boxing class will start with a warm-up. Expect some light stretching, cardio exercises, and shadowboxing to get your heart rate up.
Basic Techniques: Instructors will teach you the basic boxing stances, footwork, and punching techniques. Don't worry if you feel a bit clumsy at first; everyone does.
Safety Measures: Safety is a top priority in boxing classes. You'll be provided with the necessary protective gear, such as gloves and hand wraps, to minimize the risk of injury.
Partner Drills: Depending on the class format, you may engage in partner drills, practicing your newly acquired skills with a fellow classmate.
Conditioning: Boxing is a physically demanding sport, so expect to work up a sweat and challenge your endurance.
